Services
Whether an attorney, agency, or individual Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR), my primary concern is your needs and requirements, as well as, achieving and maintaining an accurate record of proceedings. Video deposition services are available within the San Francisco Bay Area -- North, South, East, Peninsula.

Video Depositions
Full service video record of depositions following the Professional Standards and Code of Ethics as set forth by the Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) Council of the National Court Reporters Association (NRCA). As a bonded California Notary Public (Commission # 2028951), able to administer oath to deponent in event of unavailability of Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) per CCP 2025.220; CCP 2025.620; CCP 2025.340.
Depositions are recorded with timestamp utilizing the industry recognized JVC GY-HM200 camera. Files are recorded direct onto SDHC memory cards with a simultaneous backup recording to external MP4 recorders. This surpasses the need to transcode and allows for quicker turnaround time.
External XLR cabled microphones are routed to an independent channel mixer, allowing for exceptional audio control, and additional audio backup is captured by a Tascam DR-40 linear PCM recorder. Thus, a superior live audio feed, as well as, a courtesy audio file (immediately following the deposition) can also be provided to the Court Reporter.
Additionally, a chronological log of direct- and cross- examinations, objections, and on- and off- record points is generated during the deposition. Video Files are safely archived and follow post-deposition procedures applicable within statutory codes CCP 2025.510-2025.570.

Transcript to Video Synch
Upon request, the certified official CSR transcript can be synchronized with the video element of the deposition. Final files of synchronized transcripts are provided in .mdb (Sanction), .cms (TrialDirector), .lef, .ptf and .vid (RealLegal-LiveNote) formats. Almost all case preparation and presentation software programs import one or more of these formats.
Synchronization is achieved by using the industry recognized YesLaw Generator Sync Tool. The output delivery is a YesLawDVD and will include the synchronized transcripts for all the major trial preparation and presentation software applications; the video in MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and/or DVD-video; and the YesLawDVD player editor software.
This also allows for the client to easily edit video clips, re-order and combine clips, present in full screen with or without captions. Litigators can quickly export directly to other trial presentation software, including to Sanction and Summation case databases, or to PowerPoint presentations complete with scrolling text.

Video Editing and Other Services
As a chronological log of direct- and cross- examinations, objections, and on- and off- record points was also maintained during the deposition, this also allows, for easy edit of for "Attorney's Eyes Only" and "Privileged Information" as needed.
Other video editing services are also available upon request and additional clips from the provided final video output need not be performed by the client (as described above). This may be done in combination or in-lieu-of the synchronized transcript YesLawDVD.
Other needs--from already existing video footage--or other services such as a "Day-in-Life" or "Site Surveys" and/or special requirements can always be discussed.
